Top Express Operation

Winners of the contest for three years in a row have been Fife-based Express City Connect from StagecoachFor more than 80 years, express coach services have been an essential part of our public transport system, running alongside local bus services and the rail network. Services have developed between our towns and cities, with links to airports, holiday destinations and universities. Express services to overseas destinations have also run for more than 40 years.

These improve access to work, education, leisure and shopping activities. Use of coach services helps to reduce congestion and improve air quality in just the same way as other forms of public transport.

One of the most competitive routes in Oxford to London. It’s a highly competitive market place, that features continuing development of brands, quality, vehicles and technology - proof that the express service sector is dynamic and has an important role to play in our transport system. UK Coach Awards offer the only national means of recognising and rewarding excellence and good practice in the operation of Express Coach services. This provides:

  • an opportunity to gain valuable press and media coverage
  • the chance to give front line staff a pat on the back
  • a boost to the confidence of managers and supervisors.
