New record for UKCA nominations
More than 150 nominations have been received for the 2011 UK Coach Awards, the competition organisers have announced following the passing of the entry deadline last month.

A call for coach operators and their customers to nominate people, companies and organisations who have excelled during the 2010 season has gone out from the organisers of the UK Coach Awards.
Nominations for the awards opened this week and close on 11 December 2010. The short-list will be announced at an event in early February. The results will be announced at the Annual Presentation Ceremony, to be held at the Ramada Jarvis Piccadilly Hotel in Manchester on Thursday 7 April 2011.

Plans have been confirmed for the UK Coach Awards to fly the flag of excellence in coaching and coach tourism once again in 2011, as the scheme consolidates its position as a firm favourite in the industry’s calendar.
Nominations for the awards will open in early October, and close in early December. The short-list will be announced in early February, and the awards will be presented at a ceremony at the Ramada Jarvis Piccadilly Hotel in the heart of Manchester on Thursday 7 April 2011.
