The short-list for the 2014 UK Coach Awards has been announced, amid praise from the judges for the range and quality of the operations and initiatives submitted.
A total of 49 people, projects and organisations are on the list, across 16 categories covering the whole range of activities involved in the planning, promotion and operation of coach services.
UK Coach Awards chairman Allan Edmondson said, "Our sincere congratulations go to all the finalists in this year's awards. The judges will have a tough job in selecting the winners from such a strong field."
"To achieve high standards, coach travel relies on a whole raft of people and organisations to work together to deliver that extra special trip, day out or holiday," he continued. "We're delighted to hear about best practice in all these areas from the people who really matter, and to recognise and reward the commitment and hard work involved."
The final results will be announced at the Annual Presentation Ceremony compered by Carol Kirkwood, which will take place at the Mercure Piccadilly Hotel in Manchester on Thursday 10 April, when the awards will be presented by CPT President Chris Owens. Click HERE for further details.
